What you can expect
A fun and immersive experience! The goal of our flower workshops is to inspire your imagination, enrich your knowledge of flowers, and teach you tips that will give you the skills and self confidence you need to create beautiful flower arrangements at home.
Our award-winning owner, Sarah O'Brien, will teach you how to select store-bought flowers, how to condition them to prep for arranging, then show you step-by-step how to create a floral design that looks professional.
What's included
Each ticket includes Sarah's guided instruction, the flowers and foliage needed to create a lush, flower-filled arrangement valued at $150.00 for you to take home and enjoy, and sparkling wine, water, and individual charcuterie boards for each student.
Workshop Location
Fresh Flower Bar is located at 1301 Bronson Road in Fairfield, CT 06824. Our Floral Design Studio is located in the loft area of the modern gray barn. We are happily co-located with Outdoor Design and Living and there is plenty of parking!
FAQs
Do you provide food and beverages?
Refreshments such as prosecco, white and red wine, sparking water, and a charcuterie board will be provided. However, please feel free to bring anything else you want to eat and drink!
How long is the workshop?
We typically schedule our workshops on Wednesday or Thursday evenings from 6:00-7:30pm, and they are available to the public.
How large are the classes?
Our public workshops have a maximum of sixteen (16) people. For larger groups, we can hold our workshops outside, or in the greenhouse at Outdoor Design & Living.
How much is a ticket?
Workshop tickets are $219.00 per person, and full payment (or a gift card from our online store!) is required prior to the workshop.
I can't come anymore, what's your cancellation policy?
If at the last minute, you cannot attend the workshop, you can transfer your seat to someone who can attend in your place on the same date of the workshop you signed up for. If you cannot find a person to attend in your absence, the fee is non refundable due to the perishable nature of flowers.
Do you offer refunds?
Due to the perishable nature of flowers, we do not offer refunds. However, tickets are transferable.
Will workshops ever be cancelled?
Fresh Flower Bar reserves the right to cancel workshop dates when necessary, with as much advance notice as possible, and will always provide a reschedule date for those with tickets to attend.
Private Workshops
If you would like to book a group for a special occasion such as a birthday, bridal shower or baby shower - or if you just want a night out with friends, please call/text us at (203) 800-3830 or email us at hello@freshflowerbar.com for more information.
We can also customize a group workshop with special requests for a specific theme or flower types (depending on seasonal availability). We will accommodate a specific date and time as long as there is a minimum of ten (10) people registered. We can accommodate groups up to sixteen (16) people in our floral studio, and we also travel to other venues, restaurants, and people's homes to hold workshops.
